Monash Industry Team Initiative 2018 Program

The Monash Industry Team Initiative (MITI) is the University’s leading industry engagement program offering students from ALL faculties an invaluable opportunity to gain professional experience in a unique learning environment.

This team based initiative embeds students with leading Australian and global industry partners for 12 weeks over the summer where they are tasked with solving real-world business problems. Placed in a contemporary business environment the experience exposes students to a practical and very different way of learning.

This year students may only apply to a maximum of five projects, so it is imperative that students consider very carefully where their interests and skill sets are best suited. This is the first release of MITI projects. We will continue to post projects to the website as the weeks progress.

Eligibility to apply to the MITI Program:

Logging into the MITI Website to view MITI projects:

There is no official ‘sign up’ or ‘register on the MITI website. Monash enrolled students can view the MITI projects available by logging in with their student authcate (not their full Monash email), this would be the initial letters and numbers that appear before @student.monash.edu. Students then enter their Monash password as if they were logging in to access their emails.
