Have a break – have dark chocolate

With exams looming we need that excuse to eat chocolate and cry into our pillow about how much work there is to do, right?
Well, no more excuses needed. Recent research indicates that eating dark chocolate might increase cognition and other brain functions.
In fact, did you know that the places where chocolate consumption is highest have the most Nobel Prize recipients? Of course, this correlation may not be causative. However, there is hope for those of us who love chocolate. Maybe you might be the next Nobel Prize winner?
Research shows that consuming dark chocolate that has a high concentration of cacao has positive effects on:
- Stress levels
- Inflammation
- Mood
- Memory; and
- Immunity
And if it doesn’t … well we will still eat chocolate anyway!
