Interested in learning how to communicate science effectively?
Head along to the How To Talk Science workshop hosted by lecturer Chris Thompson and a group of Science Advanced (Global Challenges) students at 6 pm on Thursday October 6!
This interactive workshop will provide a wealth of information vital for effective scientific communication and is an opportunity not to be missed!

About:

An interactive workshop blending public speaking with the fun of science. Learn to ace those honours presentations, explain your lab report to your grandma, and communicate confidently, anywhere, anytime.

We’ll have modules on Speaking 101, The Science of Storytelling, Energy and Equilibrium, Communicating science and Memory.

If that’s not enough, there’s also FOOD! No one will be speaking on an empty stomach – we’ll provide dinner.

What is Vox? Vox is a group of Monash Global Challenges Science students who recognise the value of science communication, and want to share our speaking toolkit.
